CCET Bhilai Inaugurates IC-ISHVA 2025 International Conference,

Christian College of Engineering & Technology (CCET), Bhilai, witnessed an atmosphere of academic excellence with the successful inauguration of the Third International Conference on Innovations in Science, Hybrid Materials and Various Technological Advances (IC-ISHVA 2025) on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at the B-Block Auditorium.

The programme began with an overview of the conference theme and objectives by the Conference Convener, Dr. P. S. Rao, Professor and Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering, who emphasized nurturing young researchers and promoting interdisciplinary innovation. Dr. Archana Chowdhury, Vice Principal, highlighted the vision and relevance of the conference, followed by the welcome address by Dr. Jeetendra Tiwari, Principal, CCET Bhilai, who stressed the importance of research and global collaboration.

The Chief Guest, Rev. Fr. Dr. P. S. Verghese, Executive Vice Chairman, CCET, delivered the inaugural address, emphasizing the role of interdisciplinary research and technological advancement in addressing societal and industrial challenges.
The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Sheetal Dewangan, Assistant Professor, Ajou University, South Korea, who shared insights into recent developments in materials science and hybrid technologies. The conference received 16 accepted research papers, with nine papers presented on the first day and the remaining scheduled for
presentation on the second day. The inaugural session concluded with a vote of thanks by Co-Convener Dr. Uttam Kumar Kar. The two-day conference continues to serve as a platform for academic exchange and research collaboration.
