Session on Green Energy and a Sustainable Future Conducted at CCET, Bhilai
A highly informative and inspiring session on “Green Energy and a Sustainable Future” was conducted on 27th April 2026 at Christian College of Engineering and Technology (CCET), Bhilai. The session was delivered by the distinguished alumnus of the Electrical Engineering batch (2003–2007), Dr. Anu G. Pillai, who is currently serving as an Associate Professor at Kalinga University, Raipur.
Dr. Pillai shared valuable insights on the growing importance of green energy, renewable resources, and sustainable development in today’s world. She explained how the shift towards solar, wind, and other renewable energy sources is essential for reducing environmental pollution and ensuring a better future for coming generations. Her session motivated students to understand their responsibility in building a cleaner and greener planet.
The program was greatly appreciated by the Executive Vice Chairman, Rev. Fr. Dr. P. S. Varghese, who praised both the initiative and the speaker for delivering such a meaningful and relevant session. He highlighted the urgent need for adopting green energy solutions in the present global scenario and emphasized that educational institutions must play a major role in creating awareness among students about sustainability and environmental responsibility.
